About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The SECRJ publishes academic cases, case research articles, articles on case pedagogy primarily in fields related to Business, Education, and the Health Sciences. The SECRJ is receptive to cases in other areas, such as engineering and technology, but currently lacks qualified reviewers in those areas.

Peer Review Process

The SECRJ uses a double-blind, peer-review process for the evaluation of cases and other research. All submissions will be initially evaluated by the editor for completeness and suitability. Submissions that are not sufficiently developed, or are otherwise unsuitable for publication in the SECRJ will be returned to the authors without being reviewed.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

SECRA Journal

The Southeast Case Research Journal is the Peer-Reviewed Publication of the Southeast Case Research Association.

The SECRA Journal was first published in 2004. It is listed in Cabell’s Management Listing of Publications as Blind Reviewed, with a 30% acceptance rate, and last updated in Cabell’s in April 2011.

There are no fees required to publish in the SECRA Journal; however, the publication is limited to SECRA members. Membership is attained either by attending the annual conference or by paying the annual membership fee at Join SECRA
